CV:
Ambassador Levy made his aliya from Turkey at age of 5 together with his parents.
Upon completion of his high school studies,he joined the army where he served for five years, half of the time as a career officer. His military duties included serving in the armored forces as a commander of tank platoon with the rank of Captain. Participated in the Six Days War. He left the army in 1968.
After finishing his university studies, he joined the Ministry of Foreign Affairs as a cadet.
Ambassador Levy served as a diplomat in Israel’s Foreign Service in various capacities both at home and abroad from June 1973 until his retirement in 2011.
During his career he served as a junior diplomat in Kingston, Jamaica, as Consul in Chicago and as ambassador in the Dominican Republic, Australia and Turkey.
